Nature du poste :

 

Le service d’assurance qualité pour PC et consoles de Babel offre des services de tests aux principaux éditeurs de jeux vidéo du monde entier. Il vous sera demandé d’apporter vos connaissances et compétences linguistiques dans le domaine de l’assurance qualité des produits. Le candidat devra effectuer des tests sur les jeux en suivant les procédures prévues, afin de produire des rapports d’erreurs destinés aux clients de Babel. Ces rapports devront être du meilleur niveau de langue possible et correspondre aux normes de qualité requises (avec une attention particulière apportée aux glossaires et normes des fabricants de matériel).

 

Responsabilités principales :

 

• Exécution des projets : tests, révision, traduction et production de rapports de test.
• S’assurer que tous les projets soumis à livraison correspondent aux normes de qualité de la société et du client, comme spécifié par le responsable des normes de qualité.
• Aider à l’enregistrement et au rangement du matériel de test.
• Respect de la politique d’enregistrement des logiciels de la société.
• Des projets hors-site à durée variable peuvent être envisagés.
• Selon la demande, travailler en tant que testeur en fonctionnalité

 

 

Compétences, connaissances et expérience :

 

Indispensables :

 

• Parfaite maîtrise d’une langue cible écrite et parlée : Français, Italien, Allemand, Espagnol, Néerlandais, Portugais, Turc, Indonésien, Chinois traditionnel, Chinois Simplifié, Japonais, Coréen, Norvégien, Suédois, Danois, Malaisien, Thaïlandais, Polonais, Arabe, Russe et plusieurs autres !!
• Bonne maîtrise de l’Anglais

 

Souhaitées :

 

• Connaissances en informatique, particulièrement : Windows, suite MS-Office
• Intérêt pour les jeux vidéo

Job Purpose :

Provision of linguistic QA knowledge and expertise in Babel’s PC and Console Quality Assurance department where the company provides testing services for the world’s leading games publishers. The job entails testing games following structured testing methodologies and producing bug reports for submission to Babel’s clients. Produce bug reports to the highest possible specified linguistic and quality standards (specifically with reference to hardware manufacturers’ standards and terminology).

 

Scope of Role :

Day to day execution of assigned projects, including testing of localized games, linguistic review, translation and production of test reports as required by the QA Coordination team.

Ensuring all project deliverables comply with company and client quality standards as defined by the Quality Standards Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities :

• Day-to-day execution of localisation or compliance QA test cases as directed by the Quality Assurance Coordinator or Senior Tester as appropriate to the project
• Reporting localisation and compliance bugs and raising alerts regarding major issues related to project bugs, timeframe of tasks assigned or checklist inadequacies
